If you get your vehicle serviced with BG products at the recommended intervals (shown below) your car will automatically be covered for major system repairs up to over $6,000.

The Lifetime BG Protection Plan® covers seven major systems: fuel, engine, transmission, drive line, cooling, power steering and brakes.
U.S. and Canadian Lifetime BG Protection Plan® coverage:
To qualify for full coverage (Plan 1), your first BG Automotive Maintenance Service must be performed before your vehicle reaches 50,000 miles (80,000 km). But don’t worry, if you’re a late joiner, you can still enjoy some of the benefits with Plan 2. To qualify for 50 percent coverage (Plan 2), your first BG Automotive Maintenance Service must be performed within 50,001 – 100,000 miles (80,001 – 160,000 km).
BG Engine Oil Service
The BG Engine Oil Service covers gasoline engines.
Service interval: Within 10,000 miles/16,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
BG Premier Oil Service
The BG Premier Oil Service covers gasoline engines and fuel systems.
Service interval: Within 10,000 miles/16,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
BG Engine Oil Plus Service
The BG Engine Oil Plus Service covers gasoline engines.
Service interval: Within 10,000 miles/16,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $6,000 US; Plan 2: $3,000 US
BG Performance Oil Service
The BG Performance Oil Service covers gasoline engines and fuel systems.
Service interval: Within 10,000 miles/16,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $6,000 US; Plan 2: $3,000 US
BG Fuel/Air Induction Service
Oil does more than lubricate engine parts. It too helps to remove heat from the engine. If your car is low on oil or has dirty oil, it is going to have a tough time helping remove heat from the engine as well.
The BG Fuel/Air Induction Service covers gasoline fuel systems.
Service interval: Within 15,000 miles/25,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
The BG Fuel/Air Induction Service covers gasoline fuel systems.
The BG Transmission Service covers automatic transmissions.
Service interval: Within 30,000 miles/50,000 km of the previous service
Maximum Reimbursement: Plan 1: $2,000 US; Plan 2: $1,000 US
Maximum Reimbursement with BG transmission fluid: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
The BG Fuel/Air Induction Service covers gasoline fuel systems.
The BG Transmission Service covers continuously variable transmissions (MY 2014 and newer).
Service interval: Within 30,000 miles/50,000 km of the previous service
Maximum Reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
The BG Fuel/Air Induction Service covers gasoline fuel systems.
The BG Cooling System Service covers cooling systems.
Service interval: Within 30,000 miles/50,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
BG Power Steering Service
The BG Power Steering Service covers power steering systems.
Service interval: Within 30,000 miles/50,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
BG Drive Line Service
The BG Drive Line Service covers front or rear differentials, manual transmissions, transaxles or transfer cases.
Service interval: Within 30,000 miles/50,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
BG Drive Line Service
The BG Brake Service covers brake systems.
Service interval: Within 30,000 miles/50,000 km of the previous service
Maximum reimbursement: Plan 1: $4,000 US; Plan 2: $2,000 US
